چکیده

The estrogen 17β‑estradiol has been proven to serve an indispensable role in the occurrence and development of adenomyosis (ADS). let‑7a/Lin28B axis can control cell proliferation by acting as a tumor‑inhibiting numerous types cancer. However, its ADS remains unknown. present study aimed i) elucidate let‑7a regulating human uterine junctional zone (JZ) smooth muscle cells (SMCs) ADS, ii) evaluate whether modifies expression levels Lin28B JZ SMCs iii) establish how affects function ADS. A total 36 premenopausal women with were enrolled experimental group 34 without recruited group. Reverse transcription‑quantitative PCR was used level let‑7a, western blotting performed determine levels. Lentiviral null vector, overexpression lentiviral vector GV280 inhibition GV369 infect alter for further functional experiments. Cell Counting Kit‑8 assays conducted results demonstrated that downregulated upregulated compared (P<0.0001). Moreover, lower led faster (P<0.05), affected accelerate (P<0.05). These data suggested collaborates affect

The Significance of MRI Evaluation of the Uterine Junctional Zone in the Early Diagnosis of Adenomyosis

GOAL The aim of the study is to define the MRI appearance of disorder in the Junctional zone (JZ) in women with adenomyosis compared to those without it, given the importance of the JZ in the regulation of various reproductive events. MATERIALS AND METHODS This was a prospective, comparative and open study. Patients with adenomyosis have been sorted in target group, n = 82, while the control ...

Abnormal Activation of RhoA/ROCK-I Signaling in Junctional Zone Smooth Muscle Cells of Patients With Adenomyosis.

Adenomyosis (ADS) is a common estrogen-dependent gynecological disease with unknown etiology. The RhoA/Rho-kinase (ROCK) signaling pathway is involved in various cellular functions, including migration, proliferation, and smooth muscle contraction. Here we examined the potential role of this pathway in junctional zone (JZ) contraction in women with and without ADS. We demonstrated that in the n...

The role of autophagy in advanced glycation end product-induced proliferation and migration in rat vascular smooth muscle cells

Objective(s): To investigate the role of autophagy in advanced glycation end products (AGEs)-induced proliferation and migration in rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs).Materials and Methods: After culture, VSMCs were treated with 0, 1, 10, and 100 μg/ml concentrations of AGEs. Autophagy specific protein light chain 3 (LC3)-I/II was determined by western blotting, autophagosomes were observ...

Expression of Potassium Channels in Uterine Smooth Muscle Cells from Patients with Adenomyosis

BACKGROUND Adenomyosis (AM) has impaired contraction. This study aimed to explore the expression of potassium channels related to contraction in myometrial smooth muscle cells (MSMCs) of AM. METHODS Uterine tissue samples from 22 patients (cases) with histologically confirmed AM and 12 (controls) with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia were collected for both immunohistochemistry and real-time...
